This Intergenerational house plan or duplex home plan has two separate entrances, two separate living area and kitchens, and can easily be converted into a house with a secondary in-law suite, or a duplex. As you asked us many times, here is a model of an intergenerational house with a one-story layout for each unit. Outside, the two different front porches are giving a certain character to the whole and the arrangement of gables adds a certain scale to the residence. Inside, we can first appreciate, for each of the accommodations, a vestibule at the front entrance. Looking more closely at each accommodation, we see, on the in-law suite side, a beautiful open organization of the living room and the kitchen-dinette, a good-sized bedroom, a bathroom with bath-shower combo. The built-ins, in the living room, will certainly be greatly appreciated by grandparents. On the family side, we appreciate a kitchen with a central island opening onto a dining room paired with a living room overlooking the back. Two bedrooms and a bathroom complete this floor while a staircase leading to the unfinished daylight basement allows a glimpse of a very versatile additional layout in a space large enough for it.
