What is a Shingle style house plan? In vogue for a short while at the end of the 19th century, Shingle style homes share many of the features of Queen Anne and other Victorian-influenced buildings: elaborate, asymmetrical, multi-storied structures with cross gables, rounded towers, and large porches, designed to connote prosperity.
